Cantiere Rossini announces the opening of its crew facilities

Cantiere Rossini has created a new lounge dedicated to captains and crews spending their refit season at the yard.

The new roof top facilities are made up of a spacious games room including a pool table, a pleasant dining area and a comfortable TV lounge.

Along with Rossini’s fully equipped 100 sqm gym, this new crew area has been created to offer crew members a space to relax, unwind and connect with other crew members. It was constructed from three large offices of the old shipyard’s offices, all connected with an outside terrace.

“In the wait for the shipyard’s final construction phase devoted to the creation of a brand new crew village, we are thrilled to be able to offer this special new space to our clients. We know crew live in extremely confined spaces onboard and providing them with an area to relax and connect was of upmost importance.” says Alexandra Williams, Xperience Manager

ISO 14001 certification

Cantiere Rossini, in addition to the ISO 9001 certificate, has obtained the ISO 14001 environmental certification.

This is a significant step for a better management of all the environemental issues involved in the yacht refitting process.

100% of the electricity we use comes from certified renewable sources such as hydropower and photovoltaic. We do not use any fossil fuels to heat our painting sheds but we use sea water as a geothermal source for our high tech heat pump.

Sustainability is of fundamental importance for our company as well as for the yachting industry as a whole and we are proud to have raised the standards in terms of quality and environmental practises.

Cantiere Rossini announces the opening of its industry leading repainting facilities

Pesaro, 18th September 2021, Cantiere Rossini celebrated the grand opening of its industry leading new repainting sheds.

Both sheds are identical and are entirely built in sustainably grown Alpine wood. They have interior dimensions of 64m length, 22m width and a height of 21.5m.

This gives the capability to host +50m motor yachts without removing the mast.

The sheds are equipped with separate state-of-the-art extraction systems for dust and solvents to guarantee an optimum environment for our client’s yacht. Furthermore, they are heavily thermally insulated. Their advanced geothermal heating system uses a natural refrigerant gas and sea water as source of energy, leading to low energy consumptions.

Amazingly all the energy used in our repainting operation produces zero CO2.

These iconic buildings, not only stand out for their architectural beauty but also for being the most advanced and eco-friendly paint sheds for repainting large yachts.

Another successful refit season 2020/2021

Despite the unique covid-19 challenges, Cantiere Rossini has done exceptionally well this refit season. The shipyard has welcomed a total of 18 yachts for general maintenance and refit works and others are scheduled to arrive before the start of the summer.

With a full shipyard, the most advanced repainting sheds almost to be completed and many new incoming enquiries, we continue to solidify our position within the global yacht refit market.
