The certification, valid for the 2025–2028 period, has been maintained following the audit carried out at the end of March.

PdR 125 is not simply a formal recognition. It is a structured framework that requires companies to define clear policies, monitor specific indicators and actively work towards a more balanced and respectful working environment. 

Cantiere Rossini first obtained the certification in 2025 and has since continued to develop its internal approach. As of December 2025, women represent 25% of the workforce, compared to a sector average of 10.2%, highlighting a stronger-than-average female presence within the company. 

At the same time, the company recognises that there is still work to be done. While the Board of Directors remains fully male, women already represent 40% of operational leadership roles, marking a gradual shift towards more balanced decision-making structures. 

Beyond numbers, the focus is on day-to-day working culture.

In 2025, no reports of discrimination or harassment were recorded, supported by active internal listening channels including direct dialogue, internal surveys and a whistleblowing platform. The internal climate survey also showed a 93% positive response rate, indicating a generally collaborative and respectful working environment. 

To support the ongoing development of these principles, Cantiere Rossini has established a Gender Equality Steering Committee responsible for monitoring progress, gathering feedback and guiding future initiatives. 

Looking ahead, the company aims to move from certification to shared understanding.

Over the coming months, a structured programme of internal sessions will be introduced. These will take place during working hours and will focus both on topics related to gender equality and on the sharing of knowledge and competences across departments.

The objective is not only to meet certification requirements, but to ensure that these principles are understood, applied and recognised as part of the company’s way of working.

As highlighted in the internal programme, the PdR 125 certification represents a starting point rather than an end point.

The shipyard’s technical marina offers a calm and well-sheltered environment, with the shipyard located immediately alongside should any maintenance, repainting or refit work be required during the stay. This setup allows captains and managers to combine winter berthing with planned works, if needed, in a practical and flexible way.

During the winter months, the marina remains peaceful, making Pesaro a safe and efficient base for yachts preparing for the Adriatic or Eastern Mediterranean season. The town is easy for crew to settle into, with a walkable centre, good transport connections and a welcoming atmosphere.

Crew comfort remains a key focus throughout the winter period. Dedicated facilities are available on site at Cantiere Rossini while the town centre is just a short walk from the shipyard and provides everything needed for day-to-day life during longer stays. The shipyard team remains present throughout the season, ensuring crews feel supported and well looked after.

In preparation for the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show, Cantiere Rossini has launched “Meet the Shipyard”, a short video series created to show the shipyard as it really is: its facilities, its people and the day-to-day environment in which refit projects take place.

The series offers a straightforward look at Cantiere Rossini in operation, from the repainting sheds and technical marina to the teams working on site. It is intended to give captains, yacht managers and industry partners a clearer sense of how the shipyard works, well ahead of meeting in person.

Rather than focusing on marketing messages, Meet the Shipyard was created to support more informed, practical conversations around future projects, helping visitors understand the shipyard’s capabilities, infrastructure and working approach in advance.

A French native fluent in English and Italian, Frédéric brings over 25 years of experience both as a yacht captain and in managerial sales positions at two leading refit shipyards.
