Cantiere Rossini has announced a planned leadership transition, effective 1st September

2026.

After ten years as Shipyard Director, Alfonso Postorino has stepped back from the day-today

management of the shipyard and taken on the new role of Shipyard Ambassador.

In this position, he will continue to support the company by providing strategic guidance

and representing Cantiere Rossini at major industry events, yacht shows and institutional

initiatives.

As part of the transition, Gianluca Gabellini has been appointed Shipyard Director.

Promoted from his role as Senior Project Manager, Gabellini has played a key role in the

delivery of numerous complex refit projects over the years, developing strong relationships

with clients, captains and industry professionals. His appointment ensures continuity and

reflects Cantiere Rossini’s long-term commitment to developing talent from within the

organisation.

Stewart Parvin, CEO of Cantiere Rossini, said:

“I first met Alfonso 15 years ago, when he was already a highly respected figure in the

yachting industry. When we acquired the shipyard in 2015— which became Cantiere

Rossini— he joined as a founding member and Shipyard Director. His contribution to building

Cantiere Rossini into the shipyard it is today cannot be overstated, and my thanks to him

are profound. I look forward to many more years of working alongside him.

I have also known Gianluca for almost as long. Over the years, I have seen him grow into

an outstanding leader. As Senior Project Manager, he has earned the trust of both our

clients and our team, and I have every confidence that he is the right person to lead the

shipyard into its next chapter.”
